Conflict Resolution
Skills Program

Why Study Conflict Resolution?
Conflict resolution is the process of facilitating a peaceful end to conflict and retribution in a workplace.
Conflicts occur when people have different opinions, goals, or ways of doing things. Conflicts in the workplace can cause stress and create unhealthy work environments when not resolved in a timely and productive manner. Employees who have unresolved conflicts with co-workers may have trouble working together, which can negatively impact a company’s productivity and performance. The unit standard will equip candidates with skills and knowledge to recognize the signs of conflict and take steps to resolve it as quickly as possible.
A Qualifying Learner Will Be Able To:
- Implement a strategy to resolve conflict.
- Develop the attributes of a good conflict manager.
