Our Story
BConsult started in 2009 with nothing but non-accredited training and B-BBEE consultation. Our main focus was the upskilling of staff and assisting clients to navigate the complex B-BBEE scorecards.While employees from small companies could not afford to have ten people attend a learnership at a time, the company’s productivity was impacted. companies. In an effort to bridge the gap and eradicate unemployment in 2013 we pivoted into accredited training offering learnerships.
We started by training small numbers of staff at a time while bringing in unemployed job-seekers to work on a 12-month learnership. We thereafter applied for SETA funding for our clients and explained the tax concession and the benefits training had on the B-BBEE scorecard. We most importantly got unemployed job-seekers equipped with skills and employment.
Now more than 10 years later our vision hasn’t changed, we have only added to it. With intention of doing away with disability exclusion, we have provided unemployed disabled candidates the opportunity of workplace-based learning. Our Bconsult workplace family has grown into dedicated staff, who have a common goal of assisting clients to make strategic B-BBEE decisions in a purposeful and low-cost approach while training their staff and unemployed job-seekers.

Our vision at Bconsult is to make a difference in assisting both employed and unemployed candidates to improve their skills.
